1971 AMA NATIONAL CHAMPION MARK BLACKWELL NAMED CHAIRMAN OF THE MOTORCYCLE INDUSTRY COUNCIL

Mark Blackwell has been named the Chaiman of the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) board of directors. Mark was the 1971 AMA 500 National Champion and worked at Husqvarna, Suzuki and Polaris after hanging up his leathers. Blackwell takes over at the MIC from Larry Little, who will remain on the board along with Jon-Erik Burleson, Eric Anderson, Tim Buche, Bob Gurga, Steve Bortolamedi, Russ Brenan, Hans Blesse, Dennis McNeal, Frank Esposito, Steve Johnson and Don Emde.

The Motorcycle Industry Council exists to promote motorcycling through government relations, media relations, aftermarket programs and regulatory issues.It is a non-profit industry association.
