2011 MAICO’S WILL BE AVAILABLE IN CANADA
This 2010 Maico MMX will have to suffice until we get new photos of the all-British 2011 Maico two-strokes.
For all those who have been keeping a watchful eye on the progress of the Maico M.M.X. and its likely arrival in Canada, the waiting is over, as father and son Ted and Seth Albersworth put pen to paper to become the exclusive Canadian distributors for the New 2011 range of Maicos which are now manufactured in the U.K.
Taking full advantage of the new web site system which has been implemented by the British manufacturers “Maico Canada’s” web site will be simultaneously updated with the latest product’s and galleries, seamlessly integrated with the Maico International site, featuring their own news pages and the latest press releases plus all the pictures from Maico Canada.
Being heavily involved in the local motocross scene Alberta residents Ted and Seth are all too aware of the growing interest in the new bikes and are planning numerous track days throughout 2011 to provide potential customers the opportunity to put the new M.M.X. through its paces before placing an order. Keen to show their faith in the exotic new breed both will be campaigning the new M.M.X. Maicos in the Southern Alberta select Provincial events as well as National races.
Working closely with a leading F.1. Engineering company the new bikes will be available in 250cc, 320cc, 380cc, 500cc and 700cc, yes 700cc sizes and also feature a new British hand made frame swing-arm and sub-frame. Clearly out to impress, the new breed of Maicos come with an extensive pedigree when it comes to the options, listing some very exotic products including a full factory motor option which features billet ally casings, titanium-nitride coated gearbox and crankshaft, plus a few other secrets not yet released. For the number crunchers, the new 250cc 320cc and 380cc are expected to weigh in at a fraction under the one hundred kilo mark with the 320 and 380 hp figures expected to be well into the 60’s.
