AMA OUTDOOR NATIONAL MOTOCROSS POINT STANDINGS AFTER ROUND 6

Eli Tomac maintains the 450 Championship points lead.

Coming into round six of the 2019 AMA Outdoor National Championship, Eli Tomac had a 6-point lead over Ken Roczen. Ken was still close in the title chase, but he had a lot to prove as he struggled in Florida with 2-10 moto scores. Ken lost steam in the second 450 Moto in the hot and humid Florida conditions and many questioned if he would be recovered enough to run up front at Southwick. Ken looked quick in both motos, but he wasn’t strong enough to stay at the front. Ken Roczen went 12-10 for 9th overall at Southwick and he is now 28 points behind Eli Tomac. Marvin Musquin’s overall win helped him inherit second in the Championship, he now sits 26 points behind Eli, and Zach Osborne is fourth, 30 points back.

Adam Cianciarulo has won five out of the six races so far in the 2019 Pro Motocross series. 

Adam Cianciarulo hasn’t been known for his starts this season, but at the Southwick National he was able to figure his starts out and grab two holeshots. Coming into round six, Adam had an 18-point lead and after winning at Southwick, he extended the lead to 23 points over the Star Racing Yamaha rider, Justin Cooper.
