ATLANTA SUPERCROSS RAW PRESS DAY VIDEO: COOPER WEBB IS BACK ON THE BIKE
The 2020 Atlanta Supercross is getting set to go and MXA’s Travis Fant and Brian Converse are inside of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, to give our loyal motocrossactionmag.com viewers an inside look at round eight of the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross season. We were surprised to see Cooper Webb on the bike and going fast today at the Atlanta SX! After his big crash in Arlington, many thought he would be out for the season. Luckily, Cooper only suffered a hematoma and bone bruising to his pelvis and sacrum. We know that’s painful, but, so far, it isn’t enough to stop Cooper Webb from continuing the fight. He joined us for Press Day in Atlanta. He did a few slow rolling laps and then went fast for just a few laps to make sure he is good to go for tomorrow. Then, Cooper pulled off and went back to the pits early. HRC Honda’s Ken Roczen and Justin Brayton as well as Monster Energy Yamaha’s Justin Barcia and Aaron Plessinger were also in Atlanta for Press Day. Joining them was Chad Reed on his Mountain Motorsports Honda, Jimmy Decotis on his JGR Suzuki and Troy Lee Designs Red Bull KTM’s newest rookie Pierce Brown. Pierce is making his Supercross debut this Saturday in Atlanta after a preseason shoulder injury delayed his training and pushed his debut back to round three of the 250SX East Coast series.
