2020 SALT LAKE CITY SUPERCROSS ROUND 12 | 450 QUALIFYING RESULTS
Supercross is back and for the first time ever, we’re going racing on a Wednesday. Eli Tomac and Ken Roczen are the two front runners in the 450SX Championship hunt they come into Round 12 in Salt Lake City, Utah, with an 8-point deficit between them with Eli Tomac having the upper hand. With the unique hurry-up schedule, FELD Entertainment is finishing up the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross season in a 7-race schedule that spans over a 22-day stretch with races on Sundays and Wednesdays. Wednesday, June 3rd, will be the second round of seven events since the series has restarted. We’re all hopeful for better track conditions tonight in the Rice-Eccles Stadium as Sunday’s event was extremely dry and dusty. With the Dirt Wurx crew having more time to prep the track, more knowledge on how it develops, cooler temperatures and racing at night time instead of in the middle of the day, we expect better conditions. Check below for 450SX Qualifying results from Round 12 of Supercross.

450 QUALIFYING RESULTS
After Jason Anderson and Eli Tomac both held the lead for fastest qualifying time of the day, Blake Baggett laid down a heater on the last lap and dethroned them and scored the fastest qualifying time of the day in the 450SX class for the first time since Anaheim in 2019. The track is still dry and dusty in Salt Lake City, but it’s definitely not as bad as it was on Sunday and we expect even more moisture to come out tonight when racing begins. Sadly, Adam Cianciarulo will miss tonight’s race after crashing in the Main Event on Sunday. He tried to ride through the pain, but wasn’t able to.
