Racing is finally over and boy what a night. Heading into the tenth round we knew that the battle for the red plate in both classes was going to be close and our expectations held true. The first night spent in Arlington, Texas was a wild one and we witnessed some great racing due to the tight and technical course in AT&T Stadium. In qualifying, Marvin Musquin was the fastest in the premier class with Justin Cooper being the fastest in the lites class. In the first Heat Race in the 250s, the rookie, Seth Hammaker grabbed the holeshot and won his first-ever Heat Race. In the second Heat, another rookie, Jalek Swoll, would grab the holeshot but it was Justin Cooper who made the pass and eventually won the race. In the 450 class, Jason Anderson won the first Heat Race with a close battle between himself and Dean Wilson. In the second Heat Race, Aaron Plessinger took the lead from Joey Savatgy and led the entirety of the race, crossing the checkers first. Find out what went down when the Main Event Gate dropped and where the world’s fastest riders lie in the championship points hunt.
