2021 YAMAHA YZ125 TWO-STROKE FIRST RIDE VIDEO

2021 YAMAHA YZ125 TWO-STROKE FIRST RIDE VIDEO

The 2021 Yamaha YZ125 two-stroke comes equipped with blue number plates and black fork guards instead of the white plastics that were used in 2020. Besides the color and graphic changes, the YZ125 is the same. So why do we continue to produce First Ride videos on this bike anyways? Three big reasons: (1) We love riding this bike and we’re thankful that Yamaha continues to produce it. After all, our job is to test motorcycles and talk about them, wouldn’t you continue to produce YZ125 tests if you were in our shoes? (2) The Yamaha YZ125 isn’t losing traction in the dirt bike market, it’s growing in popularity. Two-strokes are more affordable, easier to work on, and super fun to ride. We hear stories often of riders selling their four-stroke and replacing it with a two-stroke. We also hear stories of riders who keep their four-strokes, and buy a YZ125 to play ride on or line up for their local 125-only race. (3) New faces come into our industry every year and the YZ125 is one of the best places to start for someone looking to learn and grow as a motorcycle rider and racer. Even though the bike has been very similar since 2006, there are plenty of riders who don’t know anything about it yet.
