2022 PRO MOTOCROSS POINT STANDINGS (AFTER ROUND 8 OF 12)

The 8th round of the 2022 AMA Pro Motocross series has concluded. It was an exciting weekend of racing in both classes. The 250 class again was a brawl between the Lawrence brothers, however, Justin Cooper and Jo Shimoda were in the mix duking it out. In the 450 class, Chase Sexton and Eli Tomac were in a class of their own in Washougal. With only four rounds left this is going to be an exciting rest of the series.

Chase Sexton is looking to regain the red plate. In Washougal, the points did not change even though Sexton won the overall. With only a 5-point difference between the two factory racers, it is still anyone 450 National championship with four rounds still on the schedule. As of right now, it is Tomac’s red plate to lose.

What a race it was in Washougal. Jett Lawrence extended his lead on his brother. Hunter has 28 points to make up in four rounds to get the red plate and the 250 championship from his brother. Hunter won the first moto in Washougal with Jett second, but in the second moto Hunter laid it over costing him time in points. Justin Cooper was on a whole other level ion the second moto. He checked out from Jett and the pack.
