250 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS | 2021 HIGH POINT NATIONAL
After another week off, Motocross is finally back once again at High Point Raceway located in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania. Breaks on the weekends have divided the first several rounds of the season and will continue into the next weekend before heading to RedBud on July 3rd. In the 250 division, it has been Justin Cooper who has lead the pack around the track with the fastest lap time, making us wonder if we’ll see the same results all season long similar to the 2021 Supercross season. 250 FIRST QUALIFYING SESSION RESULTS
In the first qualifying session, it was the young Australian Jett Lawrence, who was the first quickest around High Point Raceway, being followed by Rj Hampshire. In third sat Jo Shimoda and Justin Cooper took the fourth spot. It didn’t take long for Justin Cooper to slide all the way up to though as the 250 riders sat around the 2 minute and 3 three second range. Soon, it was Rj Hampshire halfway through the qualifying session to jump up to the top spot with his teammate Jalek Swoll chasing in second place, both in the 2:02 mark.
With three minutes left in the first session, Hunter Lawrence moved up to the second fastest lap time, beating out Jalek Swoll. With little over a minute left, Austin Forkner snuck into the two minute and two second mark, sitting in third place. Justin Cooper who has placed very well in qualifying session this season was seen back in sixth but like usual, jumped all the way up to the top with a 2:01 right before the session ended.
