250 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS | 2021 ORLANDO SUPERCROSS 1
When we saw rain on the horizon, we figured it would be bad. But when it rained, it poured. The Orlando track was covered with tarps the day before as Supercross anticipated the rain would be pretty bad. For the Lites class, we anticipate a lot of smoking engines as the majority of the transitions in between jumps and the start straight took the majority of the rain. The track is pretty basic in design but that probably won’t matter as the majority of the riders will be rolling a lot of the jumps. However, this may be the worst it’ll get for today as it appears that the sun will be making a cameo later in the afternoon. Practice was canceled due to the weather and so qualifying may be the worst out of the day but hopefully, it won’t be as bad when the gate drops. So, who do you think will get the fastest lap time, or even better, who do you think will stay the cleanest? Find out down below as we provide you LIVE updates from soaking wet Orlando, Florida.

250 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS
Right off the start of the second qualifying session, Christian Craig took the lead as usual. The track was starting to shape up similar to a California test track. Mitchell Oldenburg grabbed the fastest lap in the second qualifying session with Craig sitting in second. Soon Jett Lawrence would take the lead a lap later with a 53.03, already considerably faster than the first qualifying session. Colt Nichols bumped up to the second place position but a lap later his teammate would make the pass. With four minutes remaining, Colt held the lead followed by Jett Lawrence, Christian Craig, Jo Shimoda, and then Mitchell Oldenburg. Christian then threw down a very fast lap time and bumped up to first.
250 GROUP A FIRST QUALIFYING SESSION
The first qualifying session was off and Jo Shimoda took the plunge into the front leading the pack. All of the riders looked sceptical of the track but one rider that appeared to be unfazed by the track conditions was Christian Craig. Christian hit the jumps with a lot of confidence leaving group in the back. Jett Lawrence followed Christian’s charge and sat in second place, with the two sitting just under a minute lap time. Jo Shimoda made the lap time pass on Christian and the two sat at 56 second lap times. Points leader Colt Nichols moved up to fifth place. Hunter Sayles jumped up to fourth place behind Lawrence and just in front of Mitchell Oldenburg. Christian Craig grabbed his lead back from Jo Shimoda, a whole two second in front of second place. Jett moved up into the 54 second lap time as well but could not catch up to Christian’s quick 54.17. Mitchell Oldenburg was also riding well and sat in third place with a 55.6.
