250 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS | 2021 SALT LAKE CITY SUPERCROSS 1
The final two rounds are upon us, but before we head to the East/West Showdown, the East Coast 250s have to duke it out one more time before challenging the opposite coast for a win. It’s before a minute since we’ve seen teammates Christian Craig and Colt Nichols battle it out but we expect the action to be at an all-time high since there are only eight separating the two leaders. Colt Nichols is currently holding down the lead with Christian Craig in second, Jo Shimoda in third, and Jett Lawrence in fourth. The track layout is a typical traditional Supercross layout with no crazy exciting features so whoever is the best at standardized SX track layouts, will set very fast lap times. Unlike the West Coast though, there is no defined lap time leader like Justin Cooper so we’re excited to see who will set the fastest time around Rice-Eccles Stadium. Scroll down below to see where the East Coast riders sit in the lap times and stay tuned to Motocross Action as we report all the action LIVE from round 16 of the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross season.

250 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS
Colt Nichols was the first to get the practice holeshot followed by Christian Craig and Michael Mosiman. Colt led the pack until Christian Craig flew by through the whoops and Christian set a 47.5 second lap time. Christian Craig went down hard in one of the rhythm sections but still held onto the fastest lap time.
250 GROUP A FIRST QUALIFYING SESSION
Christian Craig was quick to jump into the front of the pack in the first qualifying session with his teammate following closely behind. The lap times were already around the 48 second mark as Christian set the fastest lap time. Michael Mosiman and Jett Lawrence sat in second and third place. Eventually, Colt Nichols set a very fast lap time but not fast enough to hop into second place and take away Michael’s position. Christian Craig was the fastest in the first qualifying session, setting a 47.564.
