2022 FOX RACEWAY II NATIONAL // FAST FACTS

The final round of the 2022 AMA National series is upon us and it is going to be an exciting one. Especially in the 450 class with the rivalry between Chase Sexton and Eli Tomac. Only 1 single point separates the two factory riders. James Stewart said in his last video that he would except some serious rubbing between these two racers this weekend! Here are some facts facts to keep you in the know for this weekends race.


-Big news is that Haiden Deegan is racing again, he was unsure if he would race this one after his big crash last weekend at Ironman.

-Chance Hymas is making his pro debut for HRC Honda in 250 class.

Chance is the first factory amateur Honda rider in recent history due to the Factory Connection team shutting down. Chance gets to race with the big boys this weekend. 

-Marvin Musquin is racing a KTM 250SXF with stock air forks on it to get some seat time for when he races it at the MXDN.

-It’s going to be a scorcher this weekend and the series dropped down the timed motos to 25-mins plus two laps and the time between motos has been extended by 30 minutes.

-The track isn’t backwards, it’s just changed slightly from before.

-The 450 points battle between Eli Tomac and Chase Sexton are separated by one point.

Chase and Eli will be fighting for the championship this weekend.

-MXA’s vary own Josh Mosiman will be racing his fourth National this year, and this time on a KTM 450SXF. He raced a different brand bike each National thus far.

Here is Josh’s race bike for the weekend. Josh actually got a call to fill in for the BBMX team this weekend but he decided to pass it up to race a privateer bike for the fourth time this year.
