We will next see Kurt Nicoll at the 2017 World Vet World Championship on November 4-5, where he will defend his 2016 Over-50 World title—except he won’t be on a vintage KX500 at the World Vet..

Now in his mid-50s, Doug Dubach has won 25 World Vet crowns, an AMA Supercross, the Canadian 450 National Championship and previous editions of the Vets MXDN. He will be at the World Vet to have a rematch with Kurt Nicoll.

Neville Bradshaw won all four motos of the Vets MXDN, but it wasn’t enough to get South Africa on the podium. They were inched out by Team Belgium. The next time we will see Nev is at the 2017 Motocross des Nations at Matterley Basin—where he will be on the South African team.

Mike Brown kept Neville Bradshaw honest in the Vet MXDN class, but Bradhsaw was too fast for the former AMA National Champion and Grand Prix winner.

Eastwood is an iconic name in British motocross history. Mark Eastwood was third overall in the Evo class behind Neville Bradshaw and John Dowd.

Mike Brown collided with a Team Scotland rider.

Kristian Whatley won the Evo 125 class.

John Dowd has swept the Vets MXDN in the past, but this year Team USA had to settle for second overall.

Former British Champion and 2017 EMX300 Champion Brad Anderson won the Evo 500 class on a CR500. Anderson stopped on the last lap to drink a beer with the fans, but then his CR500 wouldn’t start. Luckily his lead was big enough to get Big Red fired up in time.

Doug Henry made the trip to Farleigh and probably shook more hands than anyone at the race.

Todd DeHoop (13) was one of a group of American riders who traveled to England for the Vets MXDN. That group included Doug Dubach, John Dowd, Mike Brown and DeHoop on Team USA and Joe Melton, who scored a third in the Pre-1985 Four-Stroke class.

Tom Church was 7th in the Evo class and a member of the winning British team.

Mervyn Anstie was racing at Farleigh Castle while his son Max was racing the French 450 Grand Prix. Merv was 10th in the Twin-Shock class.
