ALL-STAR AMATEUR LEVI KITCHEN SIGNS WITH STAR RACING YAMAHA TEAM
The young all-star amateur just came off of an impressive win streak at the annual Mini O’s amateur races with 6 of the 8 titles in his respective classes, 4 on supercross and 2 on outdoors. Levi has trained with the Star Yamaha team before and the future is looking bright after signing a deal with them. However the plans of his career have not yet fully been confirmed whether or not he will head into the pro scene right away or stick to the amateur racing and master his craft. Regardless, Levi’s skills have shown just like the rest of the younger Star Yamaha riders, Matt Leblanc, Nate Thrasher, and recently turned pro, Jarrett Frye, that the Yamaha team means business when it comes to the amateur ranks. Now with an ever-growing roster, Star Racing is manifesting into one of the largest teams we have seen in recent memory. With 9 Pro Riders confirmed to be racing supercross next year, could there be a 10th? Star has plenty of veteran riders that could bring the young rider under their wing.
Levi made the announcement via instagram: “Haven’t really said much about what is going on but after mini os i got the best phone call of my life! Excited to be working with @starracingyamaha Shoutout to everyone who has brought me this far, wouldn’t be where I am without y’all V/C @ryanvillopoto “
Levi was previously signed under Rock River Yamaha’s amateur program
