I own a 2016 KTM 450SXF with 4CS forks. I hate them, but since I don’t have a lot of money to spend I can’t afford WP Cone Valve forks or the price of converting my 4CS forks with Kayaba SSS internals. I am a 45-year-old Novice rider who weighs 190 pounds. I have enough money to get my forks re-valved, but I only want to do it once; I hear lots of horror stories about 4CS owners sending their forks to two or three suspension companies without success. I want MXA to tell me who to send my 4CS forks to.

ESR installs new compression base valves into the bottom of 4CS forks. This puts the compression adjuster in the bottom of both fork legs and makes both fork cap adjusters into rebound clickers. The new base valves come with a longer and more tapered adjustment needle that offers a much wider range of adjustment.
