BAD NEWS FOR AUSTIN STROUPE: ARRESTED

The Union County Sheriff’s Department in North Carolina took Austin Stroupe into custody on March 10, 2016. While the conditions are unknown, it appears as if he was stopped by a Sheriff for being unable to stay in his lane (for driving under the influence), which led to a search of his vehicle. That is where the real problems surfaced. It was merely a month ago that Stroupe took third on a Husqvarna at the Birmingham Arenacross. While the details are not confirmed, Stroupe has struggled with a “bad boy” reputation in the past. If the charge of “Possession of Heroin” sticks, it could result in a felony sentence for the 25-year-old rider. Either way, this will most likely end his comeback and his Husqvarna support.
