Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Martin Davalos will not be racing at Crawfordsville this weekend. Martin crasjed in moto two last Saturday at the Budds Creek Nationals and hurt his knee. After been evaluated by a doctor, Martin was advised to not put weight on his knee to aid in recovery. Husqvarna’s Dean Wilson and Zach Osborne will represent the brand in Indiana.
Meanwhile, Star Yamaha’s Dylan Ferrandis will also be a no-show. He posted on Instagram that, “I crashed hard at the start of moto 1 at Budds Creek, got up and charge to finish 15th with pain in my wrist. I couldn’t ride moto two because of a broken scaphoid (wrist). Sad to say the season is finished for me.” Obviously, Ferrandis is out of Crawfordsville, the USGP and maybe the Motocross des Nations (Ferrandis was named to the French team two weeks ago).
Davalos and Ferrandis will join Joey Savatgy and Austin Forkner on the sidelines.Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Joey Savatgy had to sit out Budds Creek after a crash injured his previously injured foot. Savatgy will miss Crawfordsville and is day-to-day for the USGP. Pro Circuit’s Austin Forkner suffered a concussion five races ago and will also skip Indiana.
