At Glen Helen this last Thursday while testing for the 2018 outdoor Nationals aboard his Factory Husky FC450, Dean Wilson had a run in with another rider. With the first round of the 2018 outdoor Nationals next Saturday, the Glen Helen track was packed. This can make it tough for faster riders to maneuver their way through the crowd. Unfortunately, Wilson hit a riders rear wheel mid air which put him off balance landing with his leg out. He went to the doctor to get an MRI, and the results weren’t what Wilson wanted to hear. He had again torn his ACL and it requires surgery. This injury can put him back four-to-six months. He will miss outdoors, but it will give him enough time to be ready for the 2019 Supercross season. Below is what Wilson posted on his Instagram account.
