STARTING POINT: “I’ve been really fortunate to continue to evolve within the industry. We start as racers, and we all grow up through the industry and eventually quit racing but stay involved with the sport. It’s such a passionate group of consumers and entrepreneurs; it can be really tough for people who try to come in from the outside world.”

THE JOB: “My job is to go where the problems are and give the people the resources to do their jobs effectively. When I first started, we had challenges in international sales. We had to establish better communications with our distributors, our in-house guys and our manufacturers. As a result, our international sales have improved. Seeing everybody achieve their goals on their projects is rewarding. The growth at Troy Lee Designs has been great; there are a lot of forward-looking ideas that have people excited right now.”
