EXOTIC VET MXDN MACHINES OF THE STARS OF FARLEIGH CASTLE

For three of the world’s fastest racers — Mike Brown, Ivan Tedesco and Ken De Dycker — master bike builder Rob ‘Doc Wobs’ Walters went all-out to create some of the most exotic, factory-style retro racers on the planet for the 2019 Farleigh Castle Vet Motocross des Nations vintage race. For Americans Brown and Tedesco, Rob built replicas of the factory Chesterfield Yamahas from 1993, that bristled with factory parts or exact replicas of the unobtainium of the era. And, for Belgian Ken De Dycker a pair of Honda CR500s were built. One was a 1994 Honda of Troy replica, and the other a 1990 model built as an homage to the late Eric Geboers.

Listen to what it entailed building the bikes, what it was like to race them and check out the bikes themselves in action from Britain’s Motoheadmagcom.
