FIRST LOOK AT THE TWENTY-TEN KTM 150SX, 250SX, 250SXF & 450SXF:

THE 450SXF GETS NEW FRAME GEOMETRY, LOWER SEAT HEIGHT, WORKS BRAKES AND FIVE SPEED TRANNY

                    2010 KTM 50SX
    (1) The 2010 KTM 50SX and 50SX Mini get new ignition covers with improved sealing for wet weather riding.
    (2) The 2010 KTM 50SX and 50SX Mini benefit from the improved reliability of a new one-piece clutch hub and primary gear.
    (3) The 2010 KTM 50SX and 50SX Mini have new gearbox shafts, new ratchet gear kick start springs and new water pump impellers. The impeller has a reduced outer blade diameter, less water friction and improved water flow. The previous impeller was too efficient for the power of the engine.

                    2010 KTM 65SX
    (4) The 2010 KTM 65SX gets a new engine case design for improved reliability, a new power valve (with a machined slide for more durability) and a new waterproof ignition cover.
                    2010 KTM 250SXF
    (5) All 2010 KTM SX, SXF and XC models get new triple clamps with a 22mm offset (which is no longer adjustable). The 2010 clamp only uses two bolts on the lower clamp and is slightly flexier than last year’s clamp.
    (6) The 2010 KTM SX, SXF and XC forks have new seals and bushings to reduce stiction.
    (7) All 2010 KTM SX, SXF and XC models will get a modified airbox with improved air filter protection thanks to a molded-in lip that keeps water from splashing onto the filter. The 2010 models will use a new Twin Air filter.
    (8) All 2010 KTM SX, SXF and XC models will get Toyo B153 brake pads to provide a more progressive feel. Additionally, the bikes will have Renthal Diamond hand grips and all-new graphics.

                    2010 KTM 450SXF
    (9) The 2010 KTM 450SXF will have its frame located 10mm lower in relationship to the steering head tube. This will rotate the frame and engine forward and lower the tank and seat position.

                    2010 KTM 450SXF 22mm CLAMPS
    (10) A five-speed transmission will replace the four-speed tranny currently in use on the 450SXF.
    (11) The KTM 450SXF exhaust system will be made from titanium and come with its own resonance chamber (designated HPRS for Header Pipe Resonator System).

                    2010 KTM 450SXF FRAME
    (12) The KTM 450SXF will have machined front and rear Brembo SXS brake calipers (these were the works bike calipers from last season).
    (13) The rear shock on the 2010 KTM 450SXF will be 4mm shorter. This will lower the rear of the bike by 10mm.
    (14) The piston crown of the 450SXF piston is 0.5mm thicker for better durability.

                    2010 KTM 150SX
    (15) The 2010 KTM 150SX two-stroke will have a half degree steeper head angle, 22mm offset triple clamps (it was 20mm), improved cylinder castings and a reinforced first gear. The KTM 250SX two-stroke also gets the improved castings on the cylinder.

                    2010 KTM 250SX
    (16) All the KTM two-strokes (SX and XC) get new exhaust pipes with increased wall thickness (from 0.88mm to 1.00mm) for more crash resistance.
    (17) All of the 2010 KTM two-strokes will get a 1.8 radiator cap to replace last year’s 1.4 cap. The higher pressure cap will eliminate boil over.

    (18) KTM has tried to make their model lines easier to understand, but it is still very confusing. Here is a quick guide to the 2010 KTM models. SX is for two-stroke motocross bikes (50SX, 65SX, 105SX, 150SX and 250SX). SXF is for four-stroke motocross bikes (250SXF and 450 SXF). XC designates two-stroke cross-country bikes (150XC and 300XC). XC-W is a wide-ratio cross-country bike in either two- or four-stroke versions (200XC-W, 250XC-W, 300XC-W, 400XC-W, 450XC-W and 530XC-W). EXC stands for the four-stroke enduro models (450 EXC and 530 EXC).
