FIRST RIDE VIDEO: 2021-1/2 KTM 450SXF FACTORY EDITION WITH BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY UNIT

The 2021-1/2 KTM 450SXF Factory Edition is here and after two days of testing the new bike and learning all the ins and outs about the new Bluetooth connectivity unit and the myKTM smartphone app, we glad to release our First Ride video. Unfortunately, the Factory Edition model didn’t get a list of upgrades from the production 2021 KTM 450SXF. The suspension is exactly the same, the engine is the same and the other Factory Edition upgrades like the wheels, split triple clamps, seat cover, clutch cover, front brake rotor guard, holeshot device and Akropovic muffler are all the same as last year. The only real update for the 2021-1/2 Factory Edition model is the new handlebar pad which hosts a bluetooth transmitting remote that allows you to adjust your mapping all by yourself at the track, simply by downloading the myKTM app and connecting your smartphone to the motorcycle.

Here’s a photo of MXA uploading new maps to the 2021-1/2 Rockstar Edition FC450 on the side of the track. Expect a First Ride video on this bike soon.

The first day was spent testing on a rough, dry and dusty track in the desert. For day two, we went back to our local testing grounds, also known as our “dirt dyno” Glen Helen Raceway.
