The Phoenix flies—in the form of the Gas Gas XC300 two-stroke.

Gas Gas’ new Phoenix Project bikes represent the first effort by the new management to develop the next generation of Gas Gas motorcycles—including a more modern and more moto-oriented line of motorcycles. A new model developed under the name ‘Project Phoenix’ – in reference to the bird from classical mythology, which is re-born from its own ashes – refers to the a total renewal for the brand’s offroad models.

The Phoenix Project will come with Kayaba coil spring forks.

The Gas Gas XC model is a stripped-down version of the Gas Gas EC with stiffer suspension, lighter flywheel and closer gear ratios. The Gas Gas XC is innovative with its central backbone frame, new geometry, FMF exhaust and Kayaba suspension. The XC is visibly lighter and narrower. It will be offered in both 250cc and 300cc two-stroke versions. The Spanish brand was reorganized over the last year and wants to expand its scope and projects.
