JEFFERY HERLINGS INJURY UPDATE: PLANS CHANGED ONCE AGAIN
Sadly, the hopes of seeing Jeffery Herlings lineup for the AMA Nationals under the Red Bull KTM tent are coming to an end. It would’ve been awesome to see the Dutch MXGP star come over and do battle with Eli Tomac, Jason Anderson, Chase Sexton (maybe Ken Roczen?) and, not to mention, the returning legends Antonio Cairoli and Ryan Dungey. However, his foot injury is not cooperating and it sounds like Jeffery will end up missing the entire 2022 racing season and have to regroup for 2023 now. Read the KTM press release below:
KTM: MXGP World Champion, Jeffrey Herlings, is likely to miss competitive action for the rest of the 2022 motocross season in order to undergo surgery on both left and right lower limbs and regain full conditioning and fitness for the 2023 FIM Motocross World Championship.
