Jeremy Martin’s Geico Honda team released a Instagram post about how Jeremy is doing after his bad crash in Muddy Creek. Jeremy got rushed to the hospital after the crash. Martin will undergo surgery Monday June 25th to stabilize his L1 lower back fracture. He will be able to begin walking and start therapy almost immediately after surgery. Recovery time is looking to be around two months. Best wishes Jeremy.

2018 MUDDY CREEK NATIONAL | FULL COVERAGE

The Geico Honda rider of Jeremy Martin wanted redemption to take the points lead back from the Star Racing Yamaha rider of Aaron Plessinger at the fifth round of the 2018 outdoor Nationals series in Muddy Creek. In the first moto, Jeremy Martin took change and won the first moto where Plessinger had a crash early in the race and worked his way up to 9th. In the second moto on the first lap, Justin Cooper looked over at Jeremy Martin over a jump as they were about to collide in midair. They both went down hard with Jeremy Martin got carted off by the medics. We are unsure of his condition.
