Motocross was a much simpler sport back in its formative years. There was no need for chain link fences to keep the fans at bay or Cats and top loaders to prep the track. In fact, the track didn’t even need barricades, markers or hay bales to make sure the riders didn’t cheat—it was all so much nicer back then. Dave Bickers and Paul Friedrichs demonstrate.
