The loss of Cooper Webb (2) and Ken Roczen aren’t good for the Nationals, but they won’t affect your TV viewing and, in fact, add at least two viewers who will be sitting at home glued to their TVs to the Nielsen Ratings .

The second motos from Loretta Lynn #2, both 250s and 450s, will be shown live at 4:00 p.m. Eastern time (1:00 p.m. Pacific Time) on Saturday. It will also be shown on tape delay on NBC Sports on the same day (10:30 p.m. Eastern, 7:30 p.m. Pacific).

Compared to the Supercross TV package and the previous year’s AMA National package, the 2020 AMA National TV schedule is weak. Of the 9 AMA Nationals, 7 of them are tape delayed. That means that only two events are shown live (and then only the second motos). In fact, the only place to see the any first motos is on MAV TV—which is owned by series sponsor Lucas Oil.

1. The Washougal National has been canceled, but it will be replaced by another Loretta Lynn National. The second motos, both 250 and 450 will be shown live at 4:00 p.m. Eastern time (1:00 p.m. Pacific Time). It will also be shown on tape delay on NBC Sports on the same day (9:30 p.m. (Eastern).

2. The Ironman National second motos will be shown on tape delay on NBC Sports on the same day (7:00 p.m. Eastern Time).

3. Friday’s Red Bud National second motos will be shown on tape delay on NBC Sports on the same day (10:00 p.m. Eastern Time).

4. Monday’s Red Bud National #2 second motos will be shown “live” on NBC Sports on the same day (which will be Monday, September 7 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern).

5. The Millville National second motos will be shown on tape delay on NBC Sports on the same day (11:30 p.m. Eastern).

6. The Jacksonsville National second motos will be shown on tape delay on NBC Sports on the same day (10:30 p.m. Eastern).

7. The Thunder Valley National second motos will be shown on tape delay on NBC Sports on the same day (10:30 p.m. Eastern).

8. The Pala National second motos will be shown “live” on NBC Sports (6:00 p.m. Eastern).

TV NOTES:
• MAVTV will show all of the first motos live on the day of the race (if you get MAVTV), but they don’t show any second motos and no other network shows the first motos.
• There will only be two “live” shows on NBC Sports and those will be of the second motos only from Red Bud on Monday, September 7, and Pala on Saturday, October 10.
