2007 SUZUKI RM250-1763Brand new 2007 Suzuki RM250 found.

The barn find off the year, strange things shows up in Denmark. Our friend Christian in Denmark has a friend, Peter Asmussen who came across a brand spanking new, zero hour, 2007 Suzuki RM250. Some guy bought the bike 10 years ago and never used it. He never even started it. There is nothing special about the bike besides its lived in a time capsule for the last ten years and finally got to hit the dirt.

WHAT THE MXA WRECKING CREW IS UP TO

YZ134 YZ144 YAMAHA We had two Yamaha YZ125’s built up by Tom Morgan Racing. One was made into a 134cc and the other a 144cc. Look for a full test of these two bikes in a future issue of MXA.

YZ134 YZ144 YAMAHA Here is Chief MXA test rider Dennis Stapleton riding the YZ144.

YZ134 YZ144 YAMAHA Brian Muscutt threw down on the YZ134.

BUD RACING TC65We don’t do much with minibikes, but every once in a while there is the exception. The Bud Racing TC65 is that exception. We will be testing it in the next few weeks.

RACE TEAM SECRETS: A WORLD OF FRAMES

yz450 frames
Believe it or not, there’s a storage room at the JGRMX headquarters in Huntersville, North Carolina, full of old race parts. One of the racks is jam packed with Yamaha race frames. The race team is very thorough in everything they do, which is why they held on to frames dating back to 2009. Each frame is marked with various details. From the model year to the rider, race series, coatings and more, each frame tells a story. How about the mirror-like finish on the frame in the upper right in this photo? Way cool.

yz450f frames
On the other side of the rack are, you guessed it, more frames. Through the years JGRMX has experimented with a variety of powder coating colors on their frames. That much is evident by the black and white frames seen in this picture. You can actually purchase these frames through JGRMX’s retail site. Check out the offerings here.
