KREFT MOTO | REVALVE CONTROL 2.0

Revalve Control (patent pending) is a comprehensive suspension upgrade for WP forks. The system makes it possible to revalve your fork in seconds by simply turning a dial — no disassembly required.  Kreft Moto’s unique valve design and WP tuning focus create a more supple and refined suspension action.

Now in its second generation, Revalve Control 2.0 includes refinements such as:
  • Kashima coated damper rod
  • Durable hard anodizing
  • Detent “clicks” for more precise adjustments
  • A protective cap that duals as a wrench to make adjustments without tools

Revalve Control works by adjusting how the shims behave on the fork’s mid-valve.  This is radically different than the traditional compression “clicker” (a fixed orifice “bleed” device).  A compression clicker is not speed sensitive, while Revalve Control is.  Therefore, the range of adjustment provided by Revalve Control will literally allow riders to easily change from a Track setting to a Trail setting.  It is that powerful.

Even if you don’t use the same bike for track/trail, Revalve Control will allow adjustments for different track conditions and for fine tuning to the rider’s preference.  It is like having a Factory Suspension Mechanic at your fingertips.

But it’s not just about adjustability, a Kreft Moto tuned fork is still customized to the rider’s requirements.  Our revised spring curve and damping modification creates a more free-moving feel in the initial stroke, enhances traction, and improves cornering confidence with a reliable turn-in feel and controlled line tracking.

  • Revalve Control 2.0 is available for all 2017 & newer KTM/Husqvarnas (125 – 450cc) with WP XACT or AER48 forks (SX, SX-F, XC, XC-F, FC, TC, FX).
  • Revalve Control is also available for all 2017 & newer KTM/Husqvarnas (125 – 501cc) with XPLOR forks (EXC, XC-W, FE, TE).

2021 HONDA TRAIL 125 ABS

2021 Honda Trail 125

Sixty years after Honda introduced customers to the joys of casual on- and off-road riding, the all-new 2021 Honda Trail 125 ABS (CT125) resurrects a revered brand by injecting a healthy dose of practical design and hassle-free technology to create a miniMOTO that—much like the Super Cub and Monkey—pays tribute to the past while adapting easily to modern lifestyles.

Debuted in 2019 as a concept model at the 46th Tokyo Motor Show, the CT125 received rave reviews, along with requests for a production model. That wish is now granted with the introduction of the 2021 Honda Trail 125, which expands upon the scope of the popular Super Cub C125 to include casual riding in rural settings, including two-track roads and trails.

This was accomplished by strengthening the C125 chassis, increasing suspension travel and improving fuel range. The engine is the same 125cc four-stroke, single-cylinder overhead-camshaft design operating two valves, but with a high-mounted air intake and upswept exhaust that enhance low-end and midrange power. As with the Super Cub, the Trail 125 has a four-speed semiautomatic transmission. The engine guard adds protection from obstacles like large rocks and tree stumps.2021 Honda Trail 125Honda’s designers maintained the distinctive look that propelled the purchase of hundreds of thousands of CT-series machines over six decades. With the launch of the Trail 125, Honda taps into the success of similarly nostalgic miniMOTO models to introduce riders to the joys of trekking on roads and trails.

“When American Honda was established in 1959 and began offering the Honda 50, Idaho dealer Herb Uhl started modifying it for off-road use, resulting in Honda producing the Trail 50,” said Lee Edmunds, Senior Manager of Powersports Marketing for American Honda. “That model became ubiquitous in American campgrounds and on motorhome bumpers in the ’60s and ’70s and led to a number of successors. For that reason, the CT brand has a special history with the U.S. market, and it’s great to see it return with the Trail 125 which, like the Super Cub and Monkey, harkens back to a golden era of American motorcycling but with modern technology and reliability.”

The 2021 Honda Trail 125 is scheduled for release in November and will be available in Glowing Red. The MSRP is $3899.

MXA’S JOSH MOSIMAN EARNS 2ND & $500 AT THE “PASHA 125 OPEN”

MXA Assistant Editor and test rider in training, Josh Mosiman raced our 2020 KTM 125SX to second place in the 125 Open Pro class behind Mike Alessi. To read the full race report on the event and learn about the big bucks that were paid out to the three different 125 Open, 125 30+ and 125 40+ age group classes, click here.

F&L SP-1 Fuel Josh Mosiman Pasha 125 two-stroke raceThankfully, F&L Racing Fuel provided Josh with some of their SP-1 fuel to give our stock KTM 125 some extra horsepower. Pro Circuit also pitched in a pipe and silencer for the race and Dunlop gave Josh some fresh tires.

While testing other bikes at Glen Helen on Thursday, we saw Mike Alessi riding his YZ134 in preparation for the “Pasha 125 Open” race on Saturday. Jody rolled out the KTM 125 for Josh to ride, but it was bone stock and needed some juice to compete with the other hopped up 150s that are allowed at the “125 Open” race. Luckily, F&L Racing Fuel provided Josh with some of their SP-1 high octane race gas. Josh’s friend Kyle explained that he had the “special sauce” that he could bring out that would increase power significantly, however, without anytime to play with jetting or test, four gallons of SP-1 fuel cut with one gallon of pump gas and a 40:1 premix ratio of Maxima K2, Josh was on his way to the races with more power and no hassle.

Josh Mosiman $500 winnings 2020 Pasha 125 two-stroke race Pasha is serious about getting Pros on 125s. He paid out $750 to 1st place, $500 to 2nd and $250 to 3rd overall in each of the three different 125 money classes.

Josh’s 2-2 moto scores were good enough to earn him second overall and an extra $500, but he wasn’t able to beat Mike Alessi. Still, two 20-minute motos in the 115-degree heat was good practice for the World Two-Stroke Championships which are coming up at Glen Helen on October 3rd.
