MXA TEST RIDER FILES: BUILDING, RACING & BREAKING THE 2021 KAWASAKI KX450X AT LAKE HAVASU WORCS OFF-ROAD EVENT
We here at MXA are always busy building, testing and racing motorcycles. Last week, MXA’s Josh Mosiman decided to film the process of building our 2021 Kawasaki KX450X and racing it at one of the toughest off-road sand tracks on the West Coast, the Lake Havasu WORCS race in Arizona. Another MXA test rider who shares the same first name, Josh Fout also joined in on the action. Fout chose to compete on MXA’s 2021 KTM 450XCF cross-country machine for his first trip to Lake Havasu and he ended up winning the 30+ B class and placing 4th in the 450 B classs. For the first ever MXA Test Rider Files vlog style video, Josh meets up with Jay Clark from Dunlop to pick up some fresh Dunlop MX12 sand tires, he goes riding with Michael DelFante, Cole Zeller and Cameron Purczynski in the hills, stops by Precision Concepts to adjust the settings on the suspension, goes to ODI to get some fresh handlebars and grips and builds the bikes with Josh Fout all before heading to Lake Havasu to go racing.
In the end, Josh finished 10th place in the Pro class behind some world-class off-road talent like up-and-comer Dante Oliveira, Taylor Robert, Zach Bell, Thad Duvall and more. See below for the official results and for some photos from the event:
