MXA VIDEO: COOPER WEBB & MAX VOHLAND THURSDAY AT GLEN HELEN

Fresh off his 2021 Monster Energy Supercross 450 Championship, Cooper Webb is back at the track putting in time testing and training for the 2021 Outdoor Nationals. Young Red Bull KTM 250SXF prodigy, Max Vohland was also out riding with Cooper Webb on Thursday at Glen Helen. It’s interesting to note that Cooper Webb has 42 podium finishes in Supercross and only 1 podium finish outdoors since he’s moved to the 450 class. Yes, he’s had a lot of injuries that have caused him to miss a lot of races, so that definitely plays into it, but the stats show that Cooper is currently much better at Supercross than motocross.

Lately, a lot of riders have been spinning laps at Fox Raceway preparing for the season opener which will be held there in Pala, California, on May 29th. But, Fox Raceway is now going to be closed from 5/14 to 6/11 to prepare for the National on 5/29 which means that Glen Helen and the other tracks in SoCal will be even more packed with Pros. Why is Fox Raceway going to stay closed for 13 days after the National? They’re holding the Loretta Lynn Regional qualifier on June 5th and 6th as well, so the extra time off will help them clean up and prepare for that race.
