MXA VIDEO: FACTORY KTM 125 TWO-STROKE SUPERCROSS RIDING WITH MAX VOHLAND

FACTORY KTM 125 TWO-STROKE SUPERCROSS WITH MAX VOHLAND

Enjoy the sights and sounds of Max Vohland riding on a modern day factory KTM 125 two-stroke around KTM’s private Supercross test track in Corona. Some of you might recognize Max’s last name because of his Dad, Tallon Vohland, who raced as a factory rider and was successful as well. Tallon has won a 125GP and a 250GP, he spent time leading the MXGP Championships in 1996 and 1997, he did battle with Stefan Everts and Ricky Carmichael and he won three Supercross main events as well as one outdoor National. MXA’s Travis Fant was able to film Max Vohland on the day before the Red Bull Straight Rhythm while he was getting his final training laps in. Max went on to qualifying first in the 125 class, but unfortunately a crash while leading against Michael Leib (dressed as Ernesto Fonseca) would take Max out  of the night and give him a broken collarbone.

Here’s is Max’s crash sequence, photos by Kenny Maddux part 1.
