JUSTIN BARCIA IS THE KING OF RED BUD

When Justin Barcia (51) won last week at Budds Creek many people wrote it off as a fluke. One man who didn’t was Justin Barcia. At Red Bud he rode like a man possessed to go 2-1 for the victory.

Ryan Dungey (5) isn’t worried about Justin Barcia at this point in the season. Barcia is 63 points behind him. Instead Ryan is watching Ken Roczen and slowly, but surely, pulling away in the points chase.

Fredrik Noren (39) raced Red Bud on Saturday and got married on Sunday. He was the highest placing Honda. In fact, Fredrik was the only Honda in the top ten as the rest of the team is injured.

Jeremy Martin’s Red Bud victory was an ode to perseverance. He kept plugging away and it magically worked out for him…twice. Maybe it’s not magic!

Zach Osborne (16) looks across to see who’s ahead of him. In the second moto it was only Jeremy Martin.

Marvin Musquin (25) rode defensively at Red Bud. It killed his momentum and he had a poor, for him, 4-6 day. Marvin lost the red plate to Jeremy Martin by 7 points.

Justin Hill (32) and Alex Martin (31) didn’t stay in this order for long. Martin was 5th and Hill 13th. Hill has missed most of the AMA 250 National series with an injury and is just getting back into the swing of things.
