ROCKY MOUNTAIN KTM’S FORREST BUTLER TALKS ON NEW & OLD TEAM DYNAMICS

The Rocky Mountain KTM team is back for 2022 to contest in the 450 class with a new, three-rider team. After he first signed with the team for 2021, Joey Savatgy will continue with Rocky Mountain for 2022 while his former teammate Justin Bogle has moved to HEP Suzuki. New for twenty-two is Max Anstie and Shane McElrath joining the team. Max is a transfer from the HEP Suzuki squad and Shane is coming from the MotoConcepts Honda team after a rough 450-debut year that was hindered by injuries.

Forrest Butler is the long-time owner of the Rocky Mountain KTM team (formerly BTO KTM and before that Butler Brother’s Racing). Now, Forrest has a 50/50 partner running the team, they have new management (with Michael Bryne stepping away) and they have new programs for getting engines and suspension this coming season. Previously, Rocky Mountain bought engines and suspension straight from factory KTM. Now, they are using their own vendors, Twisted Development (engines) and AEO Powersports (suspension).

In this 30-minute video from Rocky Mountain Forrest, Joey, Shane and Max talk all about the new team dynamics and their program for 2022.
