FIM WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AMERICAN TV SCHEDULE STARTS IN 6 DAYS
When the MXGP series kicks off in Qatar on February 28, the CBS Sport Network will offer same-day, delayed telecasts of the entire GP season. Additionally, the final round at Glen Helen will be “live” for both the 450 and 250 classes. To be live in SoCal time the race will be broadcast in Europe at 10:00 p.m. As for the delay on the other 17 events, CBS promises that they will be as close to race time as feasible (compared to last year). For the programming details go to www.cbssportsnetwork.com/schedule/cbssn
WANT A 2015 CZ? YOU CAN GET ONE…MAYBE
A Czech Republic Ducati, Suzuki and TM dealer, MCF, is building CZ motorcycles and selling them as 2015 models. The CZ-labeled bikes come in 125cc, 144cc, 250cc and 300cc two-stroke sizes. Both cross-country and motocross version are offered.
A close look at the new CZ’s will revealed that they are rebadged Italian built TMs, and not the current TMs, but the previous models (which may account for why a 2015 CZ version of a TM cost 1500 Euros less than the newly updated 2015 TMs). Billed as Limited Editions, they are probably being built from left-over stock. For more info go to www.mcf-moto.cz/mcf-moto/index.php/motockykly/cz-limited-edition

TOM WHITE’S MUSEUM TO BE OPENED TO THE PUBLIC ON MAY 31, 2015
Tom White’s “Early Years of Motocross Museum” houses one of the best collections of early motocross bikes on the planet and everyone should plan to visit it someday. But, it is rarely open to the public since it is located on Tom’s private estate. However, Tom does open the doors of his collection of 170 motocross bikes for special charity events. On May 31, 2015, Tom is holding his “Annual Bikes & Burgers” event to benefit the High Hopes Head Injury Program. As always, there is limited entry to the museum and tickets are $40. There are also VIP tickets for $100 dollars that includes a lunch, Early Years of Motocross Museum T-shirt, guided tour of the Museum (and the grounds of Tom’s hacienda) and time with the Museum’s special guests. All proceeds go to High Hopes. To purchase tickets, while they last, call (949) 733-0044 or visit www.highhopes.ws.

ROYAL ENFIELD: A STRANGE TWIST OF IRONY
From 1901 to 1970 Royal Enfield was a famous British Marque. It sold millions of motorcycles and owning a Royal Enfield was considered to be a status symbol. They even licensed their designs to other countries, including India, which produced copies of several famous Royal Enfield models, most notably the Bullet, for the Commonwealth market. Then, during the decline of the British motorcycle business in 1970, Royal Enfield went out of business. Except, no one noticed that the India licensee kept right on producing Royal Enfields in the droves. Today, 45 years after Royal Enfield folded in England, the Indian firm sells 300,000 Royal Enfield machines a year.
The kicker is that Royal Enfield, the India branch, now plans to build a factory in Leicestershire, England, as part of their global expansion plan. So, the spin-off brand, which survived longer than the founding manufacturer, will now export British technology back to England, and spread the Royal Enfield name in its birthplace. Strange.
