Christian Craig was riding on a Geico Honda CRF450 today.

The 2020 Monster Energy Supercross series may be firing off on all cylinders on the East coast as the riders prepare for the Daytona Supercross, but on the West, both Pro riders and amateurs play in the Glen Helen sand prepping for the motocross season early. After the San Diego Supercross, a six week period for the 250SX West Coast riders while they’re season pauses includes a regiment of both motocross and Supercross practice. Not only does it keep their motocross reflexes up to shape, but a lot of data and information is gathered when testing their outdoors settings in preparation for the AMA Nationals to start in May. MXA was out at Glen Helen today, testing bikes as usual and we were able to snap a few pictures of the Pros while Josh Mosiman spun laps on multiple bikes.

Austin Walton was one of the very fast off-road guys that showed up to ride motocross today. Austin came from racing Supercross and motocross before he transitioned into WORCS and Big 6 Grand Prix racing and earned a factory ride with the Rockstar Husqvarna team.

Hunter Lawrence has been looking really strong with only a few weeks back on the bike after his preseason injury.

With his unique style and bright red gear, it’s not hard to spot Jett Lawrence across the track.

Trevor Stewart also transitioned from motocross to off-road a few years ago. He rides for the SLR Honda team.

Some of the amateur riders have serious talent and we’re looking  forward to see where they go in the future.  Hunter Yoder is one to look out for.
