Tom White stands at the front door of his pride and joy. One of the world’s best motocross museums is also the least accessible to the public. Tom White’s private museum is only been opened up for public viewing twice a year since its inception. Although the museum has been used for press conferences, club meetings and special events (like the famous Joel Robert/Roger DeCoster cocktail party), the outside world rarely gets a look at the museum’s 117 classic bikes (all motocross bikes from 1976 on back)….

After Joel Robert left Team Suzuki, he signed to race the Puch MC400 in the 1976 500 World Championship. Joel’s heart wasn’t in it. This wasn’t the twin-carb bike that Harry Everts won the 1975 250 World Championship on, but the even rarer four-speed Open class bike. Only eight Puch MC400’s were made.
