The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team has announced that the 2013 MX2 World Champion Jeffrey Herlings will have to sit out the remaining rounds of the current season after fracturing his shoulder blade in a crash during qualifying at the MX GP of Belgium last weekend. FIM TO HOLD THE FIRST-EVER ELECTRIC MOTORCROSS …AND FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER ?MOTOR-CROSS? IS CORRECT

As part of the Clean Week, the FIM will hold its first-ever electric motocross bike race on Thursday, May 2, at the Zolder circuit. Racing will be Joel Smets, Stefan Everts, Jake Nicholls, Ken De Dycker, Damon Graulus and Martin Van Daele on KTM Freeride E machines.
