TAKE A LAP OF SATURDAY’S CRAWFORDSVILLE NATIONAL MOTOCROSS TRACK

In another week we are going to stick a fork into the 2022 AMA National Motocross Championship and bid a not-so-fond farewell to hot, flat, dry and uninspiring Pala Raceway for another year. To make up for that faux pas, the National Motocross series will go to Ironman Raceway in Crawfordville, Indiana, for the penultimate round of the 12-race series this coming Saturday.

The 250 National Championship is all but decided in favor of Jett Lawrence, but the higher-profile 450 class is in the tightest title chase in years, with Yamaha’s Eli Tomac only 1 point ahead of Honda’s Chase Sexton heading to round 11. Eli has his work cut out for him, because Chase Sexton has won the last two Pala Nationls in dominating fashion and if it comes down to a last race showdown—Sexton has the upper hand.
