Instead of fireworks for all the rounds due to budget constraints, Monster girls with flame throwers have been brought into the mix.

The start of the 450 main event in Phoenix.
Marvin is a front runner, but this is what happens when you start in 13th place. Marvin salvaged a 9th on the night and is still second in points behind his teammate.
Anderson is still all bruised up from the run-in with Vince Friese last weekend. He finished 10th behind Marvin and is 8th in points.

This is the Chad Reed we have been waiting for. Most thought Reed’s legacy was coming to an end. It turns out, Reed was just not happy with his YZ450F. With his subpar results, the technicians finally started to listen to what Chad had to say and made the changes needed to get Chad back on the podium.
Cole Seely is putting in good rides and getting up front off the starts. Seely is tied in points for 4th with Eli Tomac after his commanding win.

Both Reed and Tomac had break-out rides on the season. They congratulated each other after the race.

So close to another win for Shane Mcelrath. Shane still is in the points lead, but only by 4 points.
Rivels on the track, friends off. These two had a great battle in the final laps of the main event.
Justin Hill ecstatic after his second win in a row.
Jimmy Decotis finished 8th on the night and is sitting 6th in points.
Shane is looking to bring home a championship. He has all the tools this year to do so.
We have not seen the Christophe Pourcel that we have known in the past. He has struggled with being sick since A1. Hopefully he can turn the season around.
Broc Tickle has been quiet so far this season. He has been consistently mid-pack.

After a 4th place last weekend, Cooper knows what it takes to run up front. He mentioned he felt like he rode well in Phoenix and knows what to do next week in Oakland.
Each and every weekend privateer, Dean Wilson, is beating factory riders. Will Dean get a fill-in ride this season?
With Davi qualifying 2nd coming into the night show, it looked as if he had the confidence to run up front. He finished 5th on the night only a couple second behind Seely.
Eli Tomac won by a commanding 12 seconds over Chad Reed.
Justin Hill has gained the confidence and stamina to win races. He now has his sights on the red plate.
Austin Forkner got the holeshot and lead for 3 laps until Mcelrath made the pass. The rookie is destined for a bright future.
A very happy Tomac gets bombarded by the press.

Your 250 podium from left to right: Shane Mcelrath, Justin Hill, Austin Forkner.
It is awesome to see such great camaraderie between two championship contenders.

Aaron Plessinger missed the podium by one spot due to a bad start.
