Press release: Rekluse is proud to announce that Smartop/MotoConcepts Racing’s Justin Brayton, Vince Friese, and Jake Weimer will run Rekluse’s premier manual clutch system, Core Manual TorqDrive, for the 2018 Monster Energy AMA Supercross and Lucas Oil Pro Motocross seasons.

MCR team manager Tony Alessi said. “This season, the combination of a much better base motorcycle and some great tuning during the off-season has produced an exceptional race package for the upcoming Supercross season. All three team riders picked the Rekluse clutch, hands down, as the best clutch. Increased grab and a more connected feel are just a few of the strong points, along with the feel of more power at the rear wheel. Finally, we have found much improved wear and durability with Rekluse over any other clutches.”

Rekluse’s President Sean Brown said “Rekluse is excited to provide the team with an added competitive edge with our TorqDrive technology. MCR has proven to be a great partner from the start. We’re looking forward to seeing them in action this weekend at Anaheim 1.” Core Manual TorqDrive delivers unprecedented performance, tuning capability, and durability. Rekluse’s thin friction technology allows more disks to fit in the OEM clutch footprint, providing more torque capacity and unlocking the full power of the engine, without the need for stiffer pressure plate springs.
