THIS WEEK IN MXA EPISODE #13: 2021 HONDA CRF450 WORKS EDITION PORTING DETAILS, SUPERCROSS NEWS & MORE

When we released our 2021 Honda CRF450 Works Edition First Ride video, we said that the cylinder head ports were hand polished. Now, after pulling apart the engine and checking it out for ourselves, we figured out that it’s not polished, but it is actually ported. No, it’s not quite ported like you think of when Pro Circuit or Twisted Development ports your race engine, but Honda did smooth out the transition from the lip between the valve seat and the cast aluminum cylinder to smooth the fuel’s transition into, and out of, the combustion chamber. In ‘This Week in MXA’ episode #13 presented by O’Neal Racing, we also share some of our favorite traits about the all-new Honda model after we were pretty hard on it in our First Ride video. Additionally, the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross season is taking a three week (two weekend) break right now. In this video, we highlight the main topics from Arlington Supercross #3 and look ahead towards the upcoming triple header at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. Then, we share some clips from our latest video with Jason Anderson and show off some riding we did from the Ridgecrest Cycle Park over the weekend with the guys from Team True Racing Ministries.
