THIS WEEK IN MXA: 2021 WORLD TWO-STROKE CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW + PRO DAY AT GLEN HELEN

THIS WEEK IN MXA #14: 2021 WORLD TWO-STROKE CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW + PRO DAY AT GLEN HELEN

The 2021 Wiseco World Two-Stroke Championship is set to go this Saturday, April 3rd, at Glen Helen Raceway. As always, the talking point is the money paying Open Pro and 125 Pro classes that always attract a stacked list of riders, but there’s a lot more than just Pro racing at the World Two-Stroke Championship. There’s classes for all ages and riders on two-strokes. The Open Pro class has had a full 40-man gate at the last two runnings of this event and this year, there’s an $8000 purse for the top 10 finishers. The 125 Pro class isn’t usually as packed, but this year we suspect it will be. Pasha is sponsoring putting up money for three 125 Open (up to 150cc) classes. He’s sponsoring the Pro class,  30+ Vet and 50+ Vet classes. They will each have big money for the top three finishers, plus we’ve heard that there’s holeshot money is on the line too. In episode #14 of our ‘This Week in MXA’ video series presented by O’Neal Racing, we talk on the big name riders that we know are planning to race this Saturday and, we also share some video of the Pros riding at Glen Helen on Thursday. With the 2021 Supercross season taking a two weekend break, riders like Cooper Webb, Aaron Plessinger, Malcolm Stewart and more were getting some Outdoor testing in.
