THIS WEEK IN MXA: “NOW YOU UNDERSTAND WHY I TOOK HIM OUT”

In Episode 18 of our ‘This Week in MXA‘ video series presented by O’Neal Racing we dive into the hot topics from 2021 Salt Lake City Supercross 1 and we share interviews and riding footage from the Bell Helmets Moto 10 intro at Cahuilla Creek. One of the main pieces of controversy from SLC 1 was Jett Lawrence flipping Michael Mosiman off mid-air in the 250 Main Event. It might’ve been quickly forgotten, but Jett decided to call him “brainless” and a “dumb rider” in the post race press conference afterwards which stirred the pot. Other topics from SLC were the new faces on top of the podium in both classes. Jo Shimoda grabbed his first-ever win in the 250 East Main Event and became the first Japanese rider to ever win a Supercross. Marvin Musquin became the fifth new 450 winner of the season and grabbed his first win since Seattle in 2019. We also included interviews with Jeremy McGrath, Axell Hodges, Tyler Bereman and Jeremy “Twitch” Stengberg from the Bell Moto 10 Helmet intro as well.
