VULLIE KEEPS ON WINNING, JEREMY LOSES–OCT 30

David Vuillemin won all three nights of the Paris Supercross (the real Paris Supercross–not the one held a week earlier). Vuillemin won every heat race and main event he entered at Bercy (nine in all). Add this to the faux-Paris Supercross that Vuillemin won the week before and David has taken over from Larry Ward as the King of the Winter races. The overall winner of the three nights at Paris Supercross is crowned the King of Bercy–David Vuillemin is his Royal Highness!
French riders swept the Paris Supercross for the first time in history with Vuillemin, Tortelli and Pichon clinching the top three spots. Damon Huffman was fourth.

Where was Jeremy McGrath? Jeremy’s works forks were damaged in last weeks crash with Mickael Pichon (at the other Paris race) and Yamaha was unable to get him a new set until the second night at Bercy, but the forks didn’t really matter since Jeremy injured his thumb on Saturday night (with his works forks) and decided not to ride the final day of races. Jeremy finished second and fourth for the two nights that he raced.

Yamaha of Troy’s Justin Buckelew won two of the three nights of 125 racing (and finished third on the third night) to be crowned the 125cc Prince of Bercy
