450 CLASS: WEBB BLASTS INTO THE LEAD, ANDERSON BLASTS THE STAR YAMAHA TEAM & KENNY STRUGGLES
Cooper Webb wasted no time in passing his Husqvarna’s Dean Wilson and the first lap set sail for an unmolested victory at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Meanwhile Ken Roczen struggled to make passes after getting a poor start. He would end up sixth, which was better than Eli Tomac’s eighth. Webb now leads the 450 title chase with 223 points to Roczen’s 216 and Tomac’s 190. With a three race stand in Texas, the next race is on Tuesday, Roczen has to regroup and whittle down Webb’s 7 point lead. As for Eli Tomac, he is 33 points behind Webb.
