WATCH THE 2022 UNADILLA NATIONAL MOTOCROSS IN UNDER 6 MINUTES

If you believe in momentum shifts, then Chase Sexton is on his way to the 2022 AMA 450 National Motocross Championships, but if you believe in cold hard facts, then Chase Sexton is only one point ahead of Eli Tomac with three races to go. Momentum is a powerful force, especially if the next three racers were all going to be at Unadilla where Sexton was unbeatable, but they are going to go to three different tracks—that might favor one rider more than another. But which rider?

Obviously Unadilla didn’t favor 250 National Championship points leader Jett Lawrence who crashed three times—for a 7-2 day. No one can afford to hit the ground that many times, and Jett his no different. His previously massive points lead is now down to 26 points over his brother Hunter, who went 2-5. However, Hunter’s lead over Pro Circuit’s Jo Shimoda has shrunk to 14 points after Jo won the Unadilla 250 overall. The next three races are Budds Creek, Maryland, Crawfordsville, Indiana and Pala, California.
