WE LOVE YOU, WE HATE YOU…WAIT, WE LOVE YOU AGAIN

The women did race in Bulgaria last year…and maybe they will this year. Stay tuned. Photo: Youthstream

In this week’s Mid-Week Report MXA printed the Youthstream’s announcement that the Women’s Motocross Championship would not be held with the MX1/MX2 classes in Bulgaria, but instead the women’s first race would be in Greece on April 17 (with the MX3 class)

Surprise! Today, Youthstream reversed it previous reversal …and the women will be in Bulgaria. This is the only race that the women will race as a support class to the FIM 250 and 450 World Championships. The remaining races in their nine-race schedule will be with the MX3 Championships.

Here is Youthstream’s official 24-word press release:

“Youthstream confirms the first round of the 2011 FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship will take place in Sevlievo on the 9th and 10th April.”
