WHIP-IT WEDNESDAY: IVAN TEDESCO

Ivan Tedesco is still a fan favorite to this day. The three-time 125 champion didn’t grow up racing in the easiest era. Riders like James Stewart, Grant Langston, Stephane Roncada and Andrew Short all were fighting for a piece of the pie. Tedesco first raced the 125 Pro class in 1999, but wouldn’t complete a season until 2000. His first win was at the Pontiac Supercross in 2003. He retired near the end of 2014 after a long career. He hasn’t stayed away from riding, however. The last few weeks he raced the 125 intermission event at Washougal, ripped around on a Pro Circuit KX125 at the Fox Racing 2017 gear launch, pulled holeshots at the Shift release, and just finished competing at the annual Surfercross. Hot Sauce may be retired, but he sure isn’t sitting on the couch.
