Joey Savatgy has been improving in the 250 class since he went Pro in 2013. He started his career at Anaheim 1 with JDR J-Star Skull Candy KTM. The rookie pulled off a 13th place finish atop his 250SXF. Once the Supercross season was over, Savatgy moved to the FMF Orange Brigade KTM team. Savatgy would switch to Pro Circuit Kawasaki in 2015. Based on the results, the move to Mitch’s program had a big impact. He went from being a top 10 rider to being a top five rider. This year, Joey showed that he can contend for the championship. He held the red plate in Supercross, as well as the AMA Nationals. While he lost both championships to Cooper Webb, Savatgy is in the driver’s seat to win titles in 2017.
